The 2013 edition of the guide “How to Live in São Paulo Without a Car” presents an exclusive survey revealing that in the last two years 57% of São Paulo residents have somehow reduced the use of cars. The main cause of this reduction is the annoyances generated in the life of São Paulo people due to traffic. The guide presents the so-called “mobility heroes”, showing the actions of people who are helping to change São Paulo's dependence on the automobile.
